engaged  in manufacturing, transportation and trading of chemicals .It is an export oriented company and
 (60-70)% of its turnover represents exports . The company enjoys an Export House status. Received the 
ISO-9001 certification and has an in house R&D center recognised by the DSIR - Ministry Of Science and
Technology . The company has received a grant of  from DSIR in 2001 for Research and product development .
The company also holds patents for its main products .

Business Background

Anirox was set up in 1970 for the production of Nitrobenzene. During early 70s the entire aniline,
synthetic black iron oxide and red iron oxide requirement was met through  imports. Anirox was 
the first company in the country to indigeneously develop the technology for  production of  aniline 
& iron oxide.The company has since then followed a policy of expanding its product range in a 
systematic and synergistic manner and has added Nigrosine,  Aluminium Sulphate and Flooring 
Oxides to its product portfolio .

Product Range And Production Facilities

Anirox manufacturers Iron oxides , Nigrosine , Aluminium Sulphate , Aniline and Nitrobenzene . Production unit of 
Anirox is located at Dhanbad . The production capacity of the plant is 4000 Tonnes of Aniline , 7500 Tonnes of 
Nitrobenzene , 15000 Tonnes of Synthetic Iron oxide, 12,000  Tonnes of Aluminium Sulphate and 1500 Tonnes 
of Nigrosine. The unit is equipped with modern state of art and machinery and is well connected through road and rail 
network to the rest of the country .
